The Kiev flower expo will be held earlier than scheduled next year to pave way for Europe’s biggest music show Eurovision Song. The management of the International Exhibition Centre (IEC), the venue for both events has advised all exhibitions taking place after April 1, to re-schedule because the Eurovision requires an extensive build-up period. Consequently, the flower expo that was initially scheduled for 4-6th April 2017 has been re-scheduled to an earlier date of 28-30th March 2017.
Although the Eurovision Song Contest will start on May 9, the final decision on the venue and host city was arrived at earlier this Month forcing the changes. Flower Expo Ukraine, organized under the patronage of the Flower Council of Ukraine with support from the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs; and the Netherlands Embassy
in Kiev welcomed the decision to host the world’s biggest music show in Kiev.
The Eurovision Song Contest is broadcast in five continents and watched by more than 180 million viewers Worldwide, a huge exposure for the host country.
