Take a flower to a child

West Virginia: The fourth annual Take a Flower to Childcare Day will take place Tuesday, October 18, across the state of West Virginia. The annual celebration of child care workers is encourage and sponsored by West Virginia KIDS COUNT in an effort to raise awareness about the important role high-quality child care plays in the healthy
development of young children.

Link Child Care Resource and Referralis helping to organize activities in Huntington. Jerri Riggleman, who
works with Link, said they want to find local businesses to adopt a
nearby child care center and provide flowers for the staff. Businesses
can get involved by joining the Business on Board with Childcare!
award programme.
