Introducing PEMU’s Precision Farm Inputs Application Service: Enhancing Crop Yields and Sustainability for Kenyan Farmers

PEMU Launches Precision Farm Inputs Application Service to Boost Yields and Sustainability for Kenyan Farmers

Introducing PEMU’s Farm Inputs Application Service!

Did you know that farmers in Kenya can lose over 30% of their produce to pests and diseases? While pesticides can help secure yields, incorrect application often leads to wastage, pesticide contamination of food, and environmental damage. Similarly, incorrect fertilizer application results in wastage and environmental harm.

PEMU has identified several challenges faced by our farmers, including incorrect pesticide or fertilizer types, amounts, and timing, inability to scout crops to determine application needs, and lack of proper equipment for efficient application, among others. To address these issues, we have launched a comprehensive farm inputs application service that offers precision placement and micro dosing to achieve the best results with reduced application rates.

As advocates of regenerative agriculture, we believe reducing external inputs is key to transitioning to regenerative practices. Precision application and micro dosing help farmers reduce reliance on these inputs and produce safer crops.

Our service uses state-of-the-art technology and equipment to ensure that every application is done with pinpoint accuracy. This precision approach not only conserves resources but also minimizes the environmental impact, promoting a healthier ecosystem. Our trained technicians are equipped to handle various crops and are adept at customizing the application process to meet the specific needs of each farm.

Since launching a few weeks ago, we have served commercial rice, avocado, coffee, and passion fruit farms, as well as our smallholder farmers growing export crops. Our expertise and experience grow with every farm visit and application, enabling us to help more farmers produce better and create more employment. By working closely with farmers, we also collect valuable data that helps us continually refine our methods and improve our services.

We are happy to announce that farmers can now register for the farm inputs application service and detailed farm audits at our Farmer Service Centers or by writing to us at info@pemuagrifood.com. Our service centers are strategically located to ensure easy access for farmers across different regions. Additionally, our customer support team is available to provide guidance and answer any questions regarding our services.

Our goal is to ensure optimal and safe usage of expensive farm inputs, providing farmers with a good return on their investment. Through our precision application service, we aim to lower production costs, increase crop yields, and promote sustainable farming practices. This not only benefits the farmers but also contributes to food security and economic growth in the region.

Join us in our mission to help farmers grow better crops and create more jobs through our inputs application service. By partnering with PEMU, farmers can look forward to healthier crops, higher yields, and a more sustainable future. For more information or to register for our services, visit our website or contact us at info@pemuagrifood.com.

With PEMU’s Farm Inputs Application Service, we are committed to transforming agricultural practices in Kenya, ensuring that farmers have the tools and support they need to succeed.
