Arrigoni at Greentech: High technology with zero impact

International leader in the manufacturing of greenagrotextiles for crop protection, the company will turn out to the show held in The Netherlands.

May 24, 2019. Como (Italy) -The fourth edition of Greentech, the international trade fair for horticulture, will be held from June 11th to 13th, offering the most innovative solutions in the field of horti and floricultural technology. Arrigoni S.p.A. will be there to offer some of the most advanced products in terms of crop protection. Specialized in the manufacturing of protective screens for agriculture, the groupwill be one of the protagonists of the show in Amsterdam, with several top proposals: thermo-reflective screens range Prisma® in white color with LD additive (specifically Prisma LDF / MDF / HDF), ultra-resistant screens Robuxta®for heavy-duty applications, Biorete® Air Plus anti-insect screens rangeand Protecta®, the innovative mesh fabric for rain crop protection.

“For our company Greentech represents a particularly strategic event in several respects. The production of fruit and vegetables – explained Patrizia Giuliani, the export manager of the Arrigoni Group – is now increasingly limited by pests, often vehicles of pathogens. The damage caused by these vectors together with those due to atmospheric agents (just think of the consequences of the bad weather of these weeks), if not controlled in time, can also lead to the total loss of the harvest. In this context, Greentech is for us the perfect opportunity to present real and green solutions to these two problems to producers all over the world. In addition to being a response to current critical issues, our agrotextiles are also the perfect synthesis of the areas on which the show is focused: innovation, technology and environmental sustainability”.

The Arrigoni group focuses on two main high-tech goals: optimization of light diffusion and increase in airflow. These results in fact characterize the new products. New screens are conceived taking advantage of the many years of experience in the sector and above all thanks to the company’s targeted investments in Research, Laboratory and careful study of the needs of different markets.

In particular, at booth 331A – Hall 12, the Group will present the characteristics and strengths of twoinnovative solutions for professional agriculture.

GreenTech will be the perfect opportunity to introduce Robuxta®, new range of hybrid screens specially designed to withstand high mechanical stress due to abrasion on tensile structures. The screen structure is a combination of monofilament in chain and weft for more strength and tape in second weft, in different colors and densities to optimize shading for each crop and climate conditions. In white color with LD – Light Diffusion additive, Robuxta® offers the same advantages of thermo-reflective screens range Prisma® which guaranteesin greenhouse applications exceptional temperature control, protection from sunburns, good conditions for plant development and the workers, as well as water saving.

This important international trade fair will allow the Group to reconfirm and share the excellent results obtained with the Biorete® Air Plus line, insect screen made with high strength thinner yarn in order to guarantee the crops greater ventilation even in hot climates and an effective and completely naturalprotection against the smallest insect pests too.

Finally,Protecta® is the result of Arrigoni’s research on the front of the protection of crops from excessive rainfalls. Suitablyinclined, Protecta® is able to protect crops from rain, keeping its air permeability, which is a guarantee of yield in harvesting many fruits.

Combined with a wide range of professional mesh fabrics, these innovative solutions allow Arrigoni to offer the best and most appropriate answer for each need in the most diverse markets.
