Naivasha, Kenya – July 23, 2025 – The countdown is on for Africa’s largest horticultural trade event — the 22nd Annual Coop Bank Naivasha Horticultural Fair, scheduled for September 19–20, 2025, in the lush heart of Naivasha, Kenya. A Platform for Innovation and Connection

From commercial growers to smallholder farmers, policymakers to global agribusinesses, the fair draws thousands of participants from across Africa, Europe, and beyond. Attendees will explore an impressive range of sectors — including horticulture, floriculture, coffee, tea, maize, and arable farming — as well as cutting-edge solutions that are redefining agricultural productivity and sustainability.

The fair will feature:

  • Exhibitions: Showcasing the latest products, machinery, services, and agri-technologies from local and international leaders in horticulture and allied sectors.
  • Conferences: Engaging sessions led by top experts and thought leaders, covering topics like climate-smart agriculture, export market trends, sustainable farming, and more.
  • Buyer-Seller Meets: Tailored meetings to foster trade, investment, and collaboration between producers, buyers, and service providers.

Beyond Business – Making a Social Impact

The Naivasha Horticultural Fair is more than a trade show — it’s a catalyst for community development. All event proceeds are directed toward impactful local initiatives, including:

  • The Safe House – A safe haven for abused children.
  • Nacohag Health Centre, Karagita – Delivering essential health services.
  • Kenya Red Cross – Supporting emergency and community aid efforts.
  • Nyamathi Adopt-a-Village (in partnership with Naivasha Rotary Club) – Providing clean water to over 20,000 residents, secondary school education, and a health/maternity clinic.
  • Children’s Protection Unit (CPU) – Offering secure support systems for vulnerable children and expanding educational access.

McGonnel emphasized, “Our goal is to create a ripple effect — where business growth fuels social good. By attending or exhibiting at this fair, you’re not just growing your business; you’re helping to transform lives.”

A Must-Attend on the Agricultural Calendar

As the 2025 edition nears, organizers encourage growers, exporters, agripreneurs, policymakers, and input suppliers to “save the date” and seize the opportunity to connect with the continent’s leading players in agriculture.

“The Coop Bank Naivasha Horticultural Fair is about more than trade — it’s about legacy, innovation, and impact,” McGonnel added. “We invite everyone to join us in celebrating Africa’s agricultural potential — and in making a real difference.”
