The Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Kenya is calling on innovators, researchers, and entrepreneurs to submit their breakthrough ideas for sustainable agriculture through a new Community-Based Incubation Centre program.
Turning Ideas into Impact
Hosted by AGITECH Seedlings and LISH AI Labs, the initiative seeks to identify, nurture, and scale innovations that address critical challenges in food security, land degradation, climate change, and environmental conservation. The program offers a unique collaborative platform where innovators, researchers, policymakers, and communities can co-create and demonstrate solutions for sustainable land management and climate-smart agriculture.
Who Can Apply?
The competition is open to:
- Innovators, startups, and youth-led enterprises
- University researchers and students
- Farmer organizations and community groups
- NGOs and private sector actors developing sustainability solutions

Selected innovators will gain access to a comprehensive support package including:
- Mentorship and technical guidance
- Research infrastructure and data access
- Funding and investor linkage opportunities

- Recognition and visibility in the agricultural innovation ecosystem
Application Details
Applicants should submit a 2-3 page concept that includes:
- Title and focus area of innovation
- Problem statement and proposed solution
- Innovation description and expected outcomes
- Stage of development (idea, prototype, or scaling phase)
- Team details and contact information

A panel of experts will evaluate applications based on innovation potential, sustainability impact, scalability, and relevance to the thematic areas. Selected innovators will be notified by February 28, 2026, with the incubation cycle beginning in April 2026.
