Conference themes: Papers to be presented at the conference should fall within the following five themes:
1.) Appropriate policies for germplasm exchange, food and nutrition security, and trade in Africa.
2.) Getting seed systems moving.
3.) Major advances in breeding and crop management.
4.) Innovations in postharvest management, processing technologies and marketing systems and technology transfer.
5.) New evidence concerning nutritional value and changing behaviours
Special symposia can be arranged in consultation with the secretariat.
Authors who prefer to make presentations in the poster session should specify this in the abstract submission form
There will be exhibitions ranging from scientists to a wide range of participants.
Instructions for Abstract submission: Abstract should be in English and not exceed 400 words written in MS Word or a compatible format. The font should be Arial 11, single space. State the name(s) of author(s) [the name of presenting author should be underlined and their email contacts provided], institute, city and country. Key words should not exceed 7. The abstract should be uploaded on the conference website not later than 30th November 2012.
