For the 15th year in a row, Kenya is yet again preparing to host the global flower trade fraternity in Kenya’s capital City, Nairobi, on June 3-5This year, the International Flower Trade Exhibition (IFTEX) turns 15, since it was first held in 2011. It’s a significant milestone for the exhibition, marking over a decade and half of showcasing the best of Kenya’s flower industry and connecting international flower breeders, propagators, producers, exporters, buyers and consumers through an elaborate value-chain of support products and services, all working together to present a uniquely a beautiful bouquet. IFTEX attracts international participants with exhibitors and visitors from across the world, particularly from Europe, the Middle East, and other key flower-importing regions. The International Flower Trade Exhibition (IFTEX) is an annual event held in Nairobi, Kenya, primarily focusing on the flower and horticultural industries. It serves as a key trade fair for flower producers, exporters, and suppliers to showcase their products and services to international buyers and suppliers.
IFTEX began in 2011 and has been held annually ever since. The exhibition has grown to become one of the largest in East Africa, and it’s considered a significant event for the global floriculture sector, according to organizer Dick van Raamsdonk, President, HPP Exhibitions,
