The Fresh Produce Exporters Association of Kenya (FPEAK) has announced a strategic partnership under the EASETRADE Programme, bringing together the Trade and Development Bank Group (TDB Group), Faulu Microfinance Bank, and Kaleidofin Private Limited to unlock new financing opportunities for horticulture businesses.
Through this collaboration, exporters and value chain suppliers can now access invoice discounting facilities of up to USD 250,000 (approximately KES 30 million). The financing is designed to stabilize cashflow, unlock working capital, and ease liquidity pressures faced by businesses operating in Kenya’s competitive export markets.
The program targets exporters in Kenya’s horticultural sector and suppliers and service providers within the horticulture value chain. To accelerate uptake, FPEAK will roll out regional sensitization meetings to guide members on eligibility criteria, onboarding requirements, and how to leverage the facility for export performance and business growth.
