Science Technology and Innovation (STI)

The Kenya Vision 2030 recognizes Science Technology and Innovation (STI) as the enabling and supporting platforms for sustainable national development. In pursuit of this, the Government of Kenya through the Ministry of Higher Education Science and Technology (MOHEST) has established an annual National Science and technology week to showcase and celebrate the role of STI in the Socio-economic development of the country. The first National STI week is scheduled to be held on 7^th to 11^th May 2012. MOHEST plans to recognize outstanding contribution of Kenyan scientists during this event through the 1^st KESTI Awards.
