Over 20 Kenya flower farms to attend Expo Flora Russia 2012

Kenyan flower farms are expected to register heavy presence during the 2nd edition of Expo Flora Russia set for 5th to7th September 2012.
According to a confirmation list of the exhibition’s website, over 100 exhibitors had signed up by June 22, 2012. Out of these 22 exhibitors were
Kenyan companies including Horticultural Crops Development Authority (HCDA) and the Kenya Flower Council (KFC).
“HPP is highlighting the strong attendance of Kenyan growers this year in the fair,” said a press release by the exhibition organizers.
Other countries exhibiting are Russia, Ecuador, Colombia, Ethiopia, Holland, Uganda and South Africa.
This is the second time the exhibition which happens to be the only 100 percent specialized fresh cut flowers trade show of Russia is being held.
According to the release, the prime aim of the exhibition is to attract the main buyers from all regions of Russia as well as its surrounding countries.
